  3. Keep Kind set to Table.
  4. Select ASC from the Organization drop-down. Revision is automatically set so you can begin searching for a deck profile.
  5. Select one of the profiles from the Profile Name drop-down. The profile’s properties are updated with the top, bottom and diagonal widths and depth.
  6. Specify the steel decking material thickness by selecting one from the Thickness drop-down.
  7. (Optional) Override the standard manufacturer decking Sheet Width by manually entering a new value.
  8. Turn on the Concrete Fill option. The Concrete Fill and Composite Deck settings are enabled.
  9. Set the Concrete Fill > Concrete DataGroup Type and Instance to Slab and Concrete Fill respectively.
  10. Set the Composite Deck DataGroup Type and Instance to Slab and Composite Slab respectively.
  11. Enter an overall thickness for the steel decking and concrete fill composite.
CAUTION: Thickness can not be less than the steel decking Depth. The tool validates all entered values and issues a warning if they do not satisfy the validation.

Tip: Disabling this option increases performance while still maintaining the sheet width property on the steel deck element.
